White Pine Academy involves parents in the school improvement process by having parents on the school improvement team. The team assists in the development, reviewing and evaluating the plan, as well as disaggregating the data collected and presenting findings to the staff, administration, board, and parents. Parents also act as classroom resources in their specific field of employment or expertise and become a teaching partner in the classroom. Parents also volunteer in classrooms and act as drivers/chaperones for field trips. |
